Miss Renee

Miss Renee has been with Stages since the age of 4. Through out her years at Stages, she has competed in numerous competitions through out Western New York. She has has also had the privilege of dancing down in Disney in 2007, and also assistant directing the studio during 3 different performances in Disney as well. Now the owner of Stages Dance Company, she is excited to continue her love of dance and share it with all of the dancers at the studio. Miss Renee is entering her 21st year teaching at the studio, and has loved being able to teach every age and level at the studio. Her favorite type of dance is tap, and she loves to share her love of tap with her dancers. Miss Renee is also the mom of two, her daughter Rhiannon and son Hunter, who both dance at Stages. Her daughter is currently on the competition team, and she loves watching her make memories just as she did when she was on the competition team. Miss Renee is looking forward to many more years working her incredible staff, students and families and making their time at Stages as memorable as her time has been here as well.

Miss Angela

Miss Angela started dancing at stages when she was 6 years old, and began competing when she turned 7. Miss Angela fell in love with dance and the escape it provided her throughout the years. She has been teaching dance for 14 years at Stages. Her favorite type of dance is Acro, and also use to be a gymnast as well. Miss Angela’s favorite part of Aco is encouraging students that they can and will master new tricks! Miss Angela also has two daughters, Hailey and Brooklyn, that started dancing at Stages and are currently on the competition team. She loves that she is able to share her passion for dance with them, and watch them grow into beautiful young dancers themselves.

Miss Nicole

Miss Nicole has been dancing at Stages since the age of 2. She was on the competition team most of her dance career and is currently entering her 14th year as a teacher! Her classes have won numerous high score and judges awards at competitions. Her favorite style is lyrical/contemporary but she also loves jazz and hip hop!  “My goal is to share my love and passion for dance with my students while providing them with a piece they can express themselves through” Miss. Nicole also has her masters in occupational therapy and is a new mom!

Miss Laura

Ms. Laura has been a Stages dancer for 28 years and a teacher for 14 years. She was apart of the Buffalo State Dance Company and was a member in a local dance company Janet Reed & Dancers. Ms. Laura has won various awards at local competitions for her routines including choreography awards. Her favorite type of dance is lyrical/modern and strives to bring the best out of all her students.

Miss Brittany

From Buffalo, NY, Miss Bittany took classes at Stages Dance Academy and Classical Ballet of WNY where she was trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, and contemporary. In her high school years, she was a teacher’s assistant for Stages Dance Academy, as well as a member of the studios competitive company which competed around the Western  New York area. After graduating from Clarence High School in 2013, Brittany continued dancing at the University at Buffalo, where she trained under master teachers, such as Tom Ralabate, John Lehrer, and Kerry Ring. She also performed as part of Emerging Choreographers Showcase, Zodiaque Dance Ensemble, and Zodiaque Dance Company, and choreographed for Dancer’s Workshop. She graduated from UB in May of 2017 with a BFA in Dance. Brittany is a recipient of the Amanda C. Occhino Endowment Scholarship, the Koresh School of Dance Summer Intensive Scholarship, and the Rioult Winter Intensive Scholarship. This will be her 7th year as a teacher and choreographer at Stages. When she’s not teaching at the studio, Brittany enjoys reading, spending time with family, and cooking.


Miss Shannon

Miss Shannon has been dancing at Stages since 1997. During her time with Stages she was part of the competition team and competed through out Western New York. This will be her 4th year teaching at the studio. Her favorite class to teach is tap!! Her favorite part about dancing is smiling and making faces while performing! She cant wait to dance with you this year!!

Miss Kayla

Miss Kayla has been dancing for 17 years, and has been dancing at Stages for 13 years! She has been on the competition team for 10 years, which has lead her to multiple overall placements, special judges awards, and great experiences and memories throughout her year of competing! Her favorite styles are jazz, lyrical and tap. This year will be Miss Kayla’s first official year as a teacher, but was given the opportunity to be a co-teacher for a year before! Miss Kayla is currently in college at Canisius College for Childhood/Special Education and is also apart of the Canisius Dance Team. She is very excited to start this new chapter with Stages and can not wait to share her love and passion for dance with her kids!

Miss McKenna

Miss McKenna has been a part of Stages since 2007 when she was 4 years old. She has been competing since she was 6 and has been win many winning numbers. She has assisted for year ans recently started co-teaching her senior year. The 2022-2023 dance season will be her first year officially teacher and she is so excited! Her favorite type of dance is Jazz and Acro and has always loved to learn new tricks. Stages Dance Company has always been her second home and she can’t wait for the future!
